December is Here!!!
December is one of my favorite months, especially because of the cozy clothes I get to wear in this chilly month. There are so many holiday parties to go to, gifts to wrap, walks to take! It is so exciting! I participate in the annual Nutcracker here in Washington DC. If any of you are in the area and would like to come see it, here are the details. I love getting coats, cardigans, sweaters, scarfs, mittens, boots, hats etc. to keep me cozy in the wintertime. Here are some of my favorites!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving is a time to spend time with family and friends, eat delicious food, and celebrate. In my family, we have a tradition of going up to Newport, RI to visit family and friends. We always get a great Thanksgiving feast at one of two great restaurants, the Canfield House, or the Moorings. (I will put a link at the end of this post, in case you want to taste some of their delicious food!) I have great memories of sitting in my grandmothers house, catching up with all of my family members in her cozy upstairs living room. Gold anyone?
Okay, I know this polish might look like something you might have used when you were 5, and some of you may think that this color is absolutely hideous -- but there is something about this obnoxious gold that makes me smile :) Mabye gold is the new color for fall! I saw this jazzy color at the salon today and couldn't help but try it out! It reminds me of all of the golden leaves around my house! If you are feeling a little adventurous, try out a sparkly gold polish, it will be our little secret ;)

Product Review: Clairsonic - Kiss my face!
Think about it, does rubbing your face down with a dirty washcloth really clean your face. I thought so, and I did this religiously for over 2 years. My face was full of plugged pores and blemishes (gross!). But just last year, I discovered this device that changed my outlook on life (literally!). The clairsonic! I cannot express my love for this thing enough. It deep cleanses my face in a quick 60 seconds and lets my pores breathe after a long day. I bought mine on amazon.com, but I have seen them at other stores like Sephora and Ulta. Thanks for changing my life (and my face) Clairsonic!
Roller Ball Fragrences!
Hey Friends!
So I think that no outfit is complete with a little spritz of perfume to go with it! I always carry a convenient little roller ball in my book bag for a little pick-me-up during my busy day. I don't really like to slather perfume all over me, and usually a little roller ball is the perfect price and size. Here are some of my personal faves :
1. Burberry Brit -- C'mon guys! Its Burberry! Whats not to love!? This is a sporty, fresh, fruity, light-hearted floral fragrance -- with notes of Yuzu, Pineapple Leaves, Litchi, Mandarin. Yum!
2. Pure Grace by Philosophy -- this is a very crisp and clean scent for the girl on the go! I love to wear this everywhere from the beach to the classroom. It is complete with notes of Water Lily, Lavender, Jasmine, and Cool Greens
3. Ralph Rocks by Ralph Lauren -- This is a fun and energetic one! Perfect for sporting events and adventures! Complete with notes of Passion Fruit, Humid Mist, Kiwi, Washed Citrus Accord, and Dewey Green Palm Leaves
4.Juicy Couture by Juicy Couture -- This last one has to be my all time favorite. Although I think that some of Juicy's clothes are a little bit gaudy, this scent is out of this world. It always brightens me up on a gloomy day. With Watermelon, Mandarin, and Pink Passion Fruit, whats not to smile about?

Rainy Day in Georgetown
Hey Everyone!
Today was a wet and rainy day here in Georgetown. It was also my first day back at school after being sick, so I wanted to be super cozy and able to manage the hectic streets of the city without looking like a total bum. Eventually I decided on my BFFs, my black Frye riding boots, which are great for running around in and my trusty grey J. Crew cardigan. Accessory-wise, I wore a cute J. Crew necklace that reminded me of adorable little raindrops, and my clear umbrella. I think that all of you who are living in an urban environment should go out and buy a clear umbrella, first of all, you can never run into something when you have a clear umbrella. Period. Second, they just look so cute -- I feel like I am floating around in my own personal little bubble! That's about it for today guys~! More Collar for your Dollar! Emma Watson
Emma Watson has been one of my idols since I was in the 3rd grade watching her in the Harry Potter movies. She was so cute, spunky and smart. Now she is one of my favorite style icons. Just recently, she did some work with Burberry and Chanel.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Wear Pink and Make the Boys Wink!
